Where will the conference be held?

What is included in my conference registration fee?

Full HVP6 Conference Registration Includes:

  • Attendance at all conference sessions
  • Conference handbook
  • Quality satchel
  • Coffee breaks
  • Lunch in cafeteria on conference days
  • Welcome Reception at UNESCO
  • Attendance at a satellite meeting if you are invited or choose to attend one of the open meetings.

How do I register for the conference?

Registrations are accepted via the large green register button on the right.

When is the Earlybird Registration Deadline?

To save on registration fees, the Earlybird deadline is 31st March 2016.

How do I purchase a Conference Dinner ticket?

The opportunity to purchase one or more tickets is made available during the registration process as an optinal extra. If you are vegetarian or have another requirement please make sure you choose the correct option in the drop-down list during registration.

What is the cut-off date to register for this Conference?

Pre-registration is advised to secure your place, however you may try to register onsite for a higher fee however we cannot guarantee you a place if space is not available. Due to administrative difficulties, a penalty late fee of 100 Euro will be applied from 9.00 am 23rd May 2016.

I need to cancel, is there a cancellation policy?

Cancellations received up to 31st March, 2016 will be eligible for a full refund, less an Euro 30 Administration Fee.
Cancellations received after 31st March 2016 will be 100% NON-REFUNDABLE.

You may TRANSFER your registration to another person provided you have contacted the secretariat BEFORE the meeting to arrange this.

Accommodation Changes & Cancellation?

Cancellations of accommodation received up to 15th April 2016 will be eligible for a full refund, less a Euro 30 Administration Fee.
If you would like to make a change to your booking dates, this is subject to availability.
Cancellations received after 15th April 2016 are NOT eligible for a refund. We will have paid the hotels by this date so we are unable to cancel any rooms after this date or make any refunds.

Where can I get Lunch?

You will be issued lunch vouchers for the UNESCO cafetaria on the 7th floor.  Please exchange this voucher for your choice of a cafetaria lunch.  Please do not loose the voucher as it is paid for and we cannot replace it.

Where can i purchase coffee?

  • There is a cafe/bar on the lower ground floor neaby the meeting room - go down the stairs.
  • There is a cafe/bar on the 7th floor nearby the cafetaria.
  • There is a coffee machine near the back entrance to UNESCO (cheap and quite good!).

Do I need to wear a name badge?

Your name badge is your entry to the HVP6. Without it you will be UNABLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO UNESCO.  UNESCO has VERY STRICT security guidelines and without a badge or preregistration (i.e. your name is not on the list), you will be unable to enter.  Please make sure to bring photo ID with you at all times as you may be asked.  Please be prepared to pass a security point.

Do I need personal insurance?

Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to person or property, including baggage during the conference. We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice. The policy taken should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action. The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.
